Man braucht passende Worte an die richtige Adresse, ohne Unbeteiligte zu beleidigen, hier ein positives Beispiel: „Gut, dass Sie da sind und nicht hier“. Eher unglücklich ist die Übersetzung von „dumme Gans“ als „Federvieh mit Handicap“. Wir reden gegenwärtig immer weniger miteinander, dafür umso intensiver aneinander vorbei: In Behörden, Versicherungen und Sparkassen geht kein Mensch mehr ans Telefon, Dort sitzt eine künstliche Intelligenz und hilft mir zu überlegen, was ich denn gefragt haben könnte. Andersherum rufen Mitarbeitende dieser Einrichtungen mich nur an, wenn ihnen etwas fehlt: ein Vertragsabschluss, eine statistische Auskunft oder weil sie vergessen haben, wo ihr Auto steht. Völlig aus der Mode gekommen sind die schnelle Erledigung, die ergebnisoffene Diskussion und der vergnügte, unblutige Schlagabtausch.
