Man kann sie überall entdecken. Auf weiter Flur und im eigenen Vorgarten, im Hochbeet und am Straßenrand, in der Politik und in der Wirtschaft: Seltsame Blüten. Das Ensemble „Der kleine Gartenfreund“, bestehend aus Wolfgang Stute, Carsten Hormes und Ingo Börchers, hat sich entschieden, aus eben diesen Blüten kabarettistisch-musikalischen Honig zu saugen. Was trennt die Spreu vom Weizen? Welche zarten Pflänzchen gehören gehegt und gepflegt? Was darf landen auf dem Komposthaufen der Geschichte? Seltsame Blüten. Ein Programm zwischen Baum und Borke, Lyrik und Polemik, zwischen weißen Rosen aus Athen und roten Zahlen in Berlin. Zwischen Dorn im Auge und Brett vorm Kopf.
